Not really, from the drunken perspective. Although, my head was certainly spinning enough today at work with all the various things going on.
It’s days like today that make me wonder why anyone works; at the same time it’s days like today that give me all the drive to continue working. Very strange. Does that qualify as an idiom?
Anyway, by the time my work day ended, I was glad to come home to the relatively mindless lawnmowing task at hand. I was originally hoping to wait until later in the week to mow, but 3″ of rain throws a bit of a wrench into that situation. I didn’t get the entire yard mowed, but all of the important parts are done, and there’s only another 30-45 minutes remaining. This probably won’t get done until later this week at earliest, though, depending upon the weather situation.
I sat down and played the piano more today than I think I have in the last month combined. It was kinda nice to just stay somewhat mindless tonight. I also watched a lot of YouTube videos of accordion players (one guy from Sweden is particularly good). Yeah, I’m a dork.
Anyway, I really don’t have much more to share right at the moment, so I’m heading in the direction of bed. Until next time..
