I don’t exactly know why, but I am completely devoid of rambling thoughts tonight. So this is likely to be quite a short entry.
I came home from work a little early (so I could still have light by which to work) and installed the old air conditioner box. It’s a pretty snug fit (a Good Thing), and should help keep cold air out of the house. It’s not by any means perfect, but at least it’s a white box sticking out the side of the house and no longer the big ugly faded maroon-ish color that the actual unit is colored. So that’s nice.
I suppose next year (or maybe this year yet, seeing as how I’ve still got over a half sheet of plywood) I will build a box to cover up the central air conditioner unit. That doesn’t need to be insulated, though. Just something to help keep debris and snow out of it during the off season.
It was mighty foggy this morning — something I’d not seen or driven through in some time. I don’t really care for fog but it’s better than ice, although not better than ice and fog together. Fortunately after a few hours of morning sun it’d burned off.
Short of those things, it’s been a pretty normal Monday. So I’m going to head for bed and calmly work my way into Tuesday. 🙂
Until next time…
