As I’m a bit on the tired order tonight (as per the usual), I’m going to run with the picture title as tonight’s post title.
The big difference today versus the previous days of the week namely centers around the fact that we started later today than before (due to some moving of corn that needed to happen before we could harvest more). It was a nice change in a sense, because it allowed me to get caught up a bit with a few random things centering around my desk here at home. And I even got to read the paper in the morning as opposed to during the 10PM news, which is usually how I end up reading the Wednesday paper.
I also left a little early tonight to go off to choir rehearsal. That was a good time as always. But it does make for a long day, and as you can tell by the picture, Kirstin wasn’t the only one tired when we got home tonight.
Beth picked up a book that I’d been told to read — Canoeing with the Cree, which is basically a story about traveling by canoe from Minneapolis to Hudson Bay. All the way. I am told by Beth (who read it in short order) that it is indeed a good read. So I’ll have to see if I can sneak that in sometime before the book is due back to the library.
And that said, I’m going to call it a night and head for the bed. It is calling my name. One of these days, I’m going to write one of those monster posts that takes me two hours to compose… I’ve got some topics to discuss but haven’t had an extra two hours lying around to do the composition part… 🙂
So until next time..
