Not Quite As Victorious…

Well, much to the disappointment of all involved, the RCW One-Act didn’t do quite as well at competition as we’d hoped. They did, however, perform better than the previous competition (the previous Saturday) at which they won. Overall, I would have to call their performance an overwhelming success, and something of which they should be proud.

At the same time, it was the general concensus of the directors (prior to awards) that this had been the most ‘competitive’ competition in several years. All of the productions were well-done and put together in a manner appropriate for that level of competition.

Of course, this now means that, while we won’t be performing at the State Festival, we get to go watch. The final bits for this trip are falling into line. I’m very much looking forward to another fun (and less-stressful) time at the State Festival.
