Here Endeth The Weekend

King Of The Couch
Felix actually stood to have his picture taken. And it was a good one!

So I did manage to get the old air conditioner box painted. At least good enough now for the winter. So if all goes well, I’ll get it installed tomorrow afternoon and that project will be knocked off the list.

We ended up over at Phil & Gail’s house (although Gail was gone) for lunch today after church, which was nice…and somewhat unexpected. Had a nice bit of conversation and ended up spending a few hours there. Upon return home, I fed the dogs, took some pictures of the dogs, took in the recyclables (since the trailer was in town this weekend), finished painting, and even watched a little TV.

It was a pretty good day, and we had homemade pizza for supper. Even better.

I’m just glad the oven still works. I forgot to mention a few days ago, but upon an attempt to legitimately self-clean the oven the other night (Friday night to be exact), during the process the broiler element burned up. So we can no longer broil. At least until it gets fixed. We don’t often broil anything (unless we use it to brown cheese or similar sort of behavior), so that’s not the end of the world but it’s still annoying.

And go figure. 🙂

Anyway, it’s getting late and I spent more time hanging around on Flickr tonight than I’d originally intended. But that happens sometimes, so I’m heading for bed before it’s too late. 🙂

Until next time…
