Cute Capture
She was talking to me and making this crazy funny face; I just happened to take a picture at the right moment to accurately capture it.

So I missed a night. It wasn’t really all that intentional, but I was just too tired to sit and write last night. My apologies.

I managed to go through and be a little interactive with the Flickr community last night, and that can be a little (or a lot) daunting, especially when trying to at least go through some of the groups to which I added photos and be interactive with other ‘artists’ as it were. Share and share alike, right?

I really like the whole Flickr thing; it’s really an amazing place. All sorts of things, for every possible interest. And the fact that it can be used for free (granted, with several restrictions) is really pretty cool, too. I mean, I signed up with a Flickr account about a year ago but didn’t actually upload a picture until late February. And within mere days of that first upload, I had upgraded to Pro. Mostly because I exceeded the 200 image threshold, but also due to the soon-to-be-arriving baby and the removal of restrictions.

It’s been an excellent move and has worked out in many favorable ways since that time. For one, it’s trivial to share pictures (of all sorts) with everyone I/we know. And that’s worth it right there. And people with free accounts (namely family and friends) don’t have to do anything (aside from sign up which is free) to make comments and the like. So that’s just plain cool to me.

Anyway, it’s now nearly midnight (but since I finally started reading Canoeing With The Cree tonight and spent an hour on that, I’m a little late to bed. So I’m signing off for now…and until next time…
